It’s no secret that 2020 has been a tough year for many local small businesses, particularly those in retail and hospitality.

The Potts Point Partnership, a local community Chamber of Commerce that promotes businesses in Potts Point and surrounds, has launched a fun new campaign to support late-night trade.

Here’s how you can shop late and get a head start on your Christmas gifts, while celebrating the warmer weather and supporting our great local businesses.

Support our local businesses

The Potts Point Shop Late campaign will showcase the area’s many outstanding retailers and food and beverage providers, in a bid to encourage locals and other Sydneysiders to visit, shop and play during the long, warm spring and summer evenings.

With support from the City of Sydney, the Potts Point Shop Late campaign will see local businesses trading until 8pm one night each in October, November and December 2020.

Make a night of it and stroll the area browsing, eating and drinking, with specials on offer from cafes, bars and restaurants too. It’s a great opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done early while showing support for much loved local businesses.

Who:

Many of the area’s best retail and hospitality providers will be participating.

What:

The events will focus on retailers and also work with other local businesses like bars and restaurants to deliver collaborative events and specials.

Where:

The Shop Late Map + Directory will show all registered participating businesses. Printed copies will be available from Oasis Emporium from volunteers on each night or download it from the Shop Late webpage.

When:

5pm – 8pm
Thursday 29 October

Thursday 17 December
